Party in the castle

It was hard to choose a photo to represent a night in a castle....but had to choose this in the end to represent the person that brought together a wide range of people for a 40th birthday party in a castle.

Livi was just over a year away from her 40th birthday when she decided to stop smoking and get fit, by running. However rather than take it gradually, she took part in fell races straightaway, then a couple of months later, she decided to run 1,000 miles in a year to raise money for charity. She completed the challenge in November, and celebrated by going for a run of course (everyone dressed in tutus :) ).

Friends from Uni days, ex work collegues from years gone by and running friends gathered at Featherstone Castle in Northumberland to celebrate her 40th birthday. lots of her friends sing and play guitar, so we had a great evening in the vast sitting room, ages from 6 months to 60+ enjoying the fun.
