Emergency Harbour Works

It's been a lovely sunny day, albeit a bit chilly and still a bit breezy - the relative calm before the next storm on Saturday. A perfect day for a walk through Wells with M&M, by the harbour to the beach and then out to have a look at the seals. The 6.5 mile walk was sustained by tea and cake at the beach cafe and lunch at Wells Maltings. It's been so nice to have M&M visit and have a good catch up. 

Emergency works are being carried out for a few days by the 'Kari Hege' in the Inner harbour due to the continuing strong south westerly winds. The adverse weather conditions have caused a build up of sand in the channel.
