My mom is still spending a lot of time in bed. Even in a wheelchair she is a fall risk. She's slid out or tried to stand (and been caught) about 5 times. Back in bed, she is a bit safer.

When I first got out these colorful pipe cleaner things to entertain her, setting them out in ones and twos, she looked uninterested. When I handed her the whole package, then she started to have some fun.
