Today's blip is work related.

I've run an IT company for my sins for 20 years. We know our stuff and are held in high regard.

So, for a new client, we were on site today. Royal we, I was, as the rest of us are so busy that I am back on the tools.

Anyway, today was the day the phone numbers would be ported as as well as IT we do phones now too.

So, the client owned the hardware and we were to move it off one platform to another. Simples.

It quickly became clear that default pin codes had been changed so we rang the previous support to ask to what.

They denied they had but then told us that it would cost £30 per phone to get the losing platform to unlock them.

Lying b*stards.

I pointed out we didnt pay anyone anything last week when we moved more handsets off this very same platform to our service.

He then got really sh*tty on the phone, which considering we were just stating a fact was a bit off. There are lot of people in the world like this, thick and aggressive.

Anyway, look forward to taking lots more business off them in future, losers. Literally.
