Victoria and Albert

Together with fellow blipper A, a visit to the V&A was on the cards. We had booked to see the Mary Quant exhibition but arrived a bit early for our time slot. We had a wander around and visited an exhibition called Into the Blue. This looked at the origin and revival of pools, swimming baths and lidos. It was really interesting to see how many there were and see the pictures and plans and film footage. My blip today is The Rotunda Chandelier, a glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly. I recognised it as his work immediately as had recently been to an exhibition in Kew. My extra is of course a couple of Mary Quant’s creations.
