Barn owl

I went out soon after sunrise to try and see whooper swans on the marsh. I did see about 40 of them and it was a wonderful sight. In the next field were about 30 curlew then I saw several redwing but the unexpected highlight was this beautiful owl searching for a meal. What a morning. The day has been downhill since all those early treats!
