Dublin Bay

In 2009-10, I was lucky enough to work for an amazing organisation called Front Line Defenders, the International Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders.

The founder and director, Mary Lawlor, is one of the most committed and inspiring people I've met. The organisation provides protection to human rights defenders who are at risk because of the peaceful work they do in defence of human rights, giving assistance to incredibly courageous people all over the world.

Aside from the immensely rewarding work, one of the best things about working in Blackrock was seeing this view every morning and evening.
