Man up tree

As it was very windy today, we didn't think the man would want to take our tree down, but he turned up at the appointed time and climbed the tree, attached ropes, which was surprising as I didn't think health and safety existed in France, as he swung amongst the branches, chopping them off and dropping them in a pile.
In 45 minutes the tree was down. It was a wild cherry with minuscule fruits but normal sized pips, which all our dogs have eaten, pooping cherry pipped poos everywhere during the cherry season, so we're glad to be rid of the tempatation. The logs will burn well too.
