Sticky

Today has felt like wading through treacle.  I go out while it's sunny and it instantly pours, I go out when it's raining and in 10 minutes it's bright sunshine, I have the wrong camera equipment each time, and trying to get a decent shot with ICM for AbstractThursday defeats me.  I've deleted the lot!

So instead here is a very simple shot of a sticky bud (horse chestnut - aesculus hippocastunum).  In my childhood and probably in yours a great staple of the primary school nature table.  They are rather wonderful, aren't they?

Friday tomorrow, and gearing up for the hext storm.  Life's all pleasure, isn't it  ;))
