And another.....

...snow day. Not a proper one as the monkey's school was actually open despite the fact that the road it's on was an ice rink, the high school in the same village was closed and the car park at the social club where it was suggested those that drive in park was so snow covered that most of the cars had to be dug out! That plus the fact we got a good few inches here last night meant that I was going no where by car! Besides my college was shut anyway so there was no uni for me.

This was taken when we took the hound over the fields this morning - the hat is actually full of snow :) After lunch, we walked Asha to work and then Billy and Arwen had a snowball fight. After feeding he ducks. To warm up, we popped into the cafe where Asha works and had a cuppa. Arwen was most impressed at having a teapot as well as a cup & saucer!

We spent the rest of the afternoon thawing out - I was knitting, she was painting and we were catching up on Grimm. Caitlin managed to get home from her fella's and took Arwen out for another hour or so which she loved.

All in all, it's been a really fun day :)
