Swan Song....

I planned to do so much today... i had wanted to spend a good part of it taking flower pictures before they went past their sell by date!!!!!
However..it was not to be the day just got away from me and so all i have to show for it is my first picture of the day...

This tulip as you can see,. is well passed its sell by date and on its last legs so to speak!!!!
I am always reluctant to thro them away until i have taken a picture of them and i particularly like how they look at this stage in their life......

So here you have it ..... the swan song of the Tulip...........
