Very frustrating day.
Western Power came to sort out electricity feeds to both properties but couldn’t find the live cable. Need to come back tomorrow to dig up the pavement. British Gas supposed to be coming in the afternoon to fit new gas meters- left a voice message to say they weren’t coming!! Rebooked for Monday. All this will hold up the builders finishing and of course they have other jobs booked in. Curtain poles and fabric Delivery delayed and two previous deliveries Of door and window fasteners were incomplete or incorrect so they needed sorting. And BT didn’t call as promised so had to phone them again!!
On the positive side actual building work progressing nicely and J is very excited about it. As am I TBH!
