I went up to the West End to collect a carrier bag full of mathematics from the OU office and popped in to Rae Macintosh to pick up a piece of music they'd ordered for me. While I was waiting by the till in the latter, I couldn't help but notice the array of music books available. (The mind boggled).

Later we popped in to the Portrait Gallery to see the Mackinnon exhibition and have a micro-blip-meet with Mother Shipton and family - it was good to see them, albeit briefly. Had been meaning to go to the Mackinnon thing ever since it opened and found that it had been scheduled to close this Sunday, but they've just extended the run to April 13th!
