Warning... this blip may contain a rant!

I fail to understand why many of the schools in Greenwich and Southwark (and probably all over London) were closed today. The transport system was running as normal and the main roads were generally well gritted and clear in the local area. I would understand if we were rural or even suburban. But we live in an inner city. The consequence is that many parents were then unable to go to work because they had to look after their kids. We need the economy to grow and we need to bring our kids up with some sort of work and survival ethic! Rant over.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments, stars and hearts for my snow man yesterday. I really feel quite guilty now that I was blipping him rather than going to check if he was alright. Scared to go back now just in case he is still there!!
