Spoiled for Choice

A long road trip driving a friend down to a funeral. Overnight bargain bucket rooms with motorway services food, washed down with perfectly chilled G&Ts and wine. Good chat, incredibly varied weather, and many miles covered.
Whilst my friend was at the funeral, I investigated Mere Sands Nature Reserve. Lots of lovely birdlife. Never photographed a Nuthatch before so was delighted to capture a few shots of this wee beauty.
