Photographia "Vicente"

We spent the day visiting some of the attractions of Funchal. The highlight was the  newly opened photographic museum - a restored 19th century photographer's studio.

It includes some of the props seen in historic photos displayed there, a set of the old backdrops, an exhibition of old photographs and a film, cameras, developing equipment and much more. I botched my shot of the studio courtyard, but I thought you should see it, as well as one of the outside.

We also enjoyed a very modestly priced lunch in a buffet restaurant nearby. Almost as far as it is possible to get from other tourists in Funchal!
