Valentine's Day Races

Some of the guys in manual wheelchair were almost doing wheelies when they came round the bend at the bottom of the hill.

Some of those on their feet, either their own or prosthetic, were positively belting along, which I assumed was because they were at the bottom of the hill but they continued the same pace all the way back up.  Made me feel tired just watching them.  Mind you, those guys on electric chairs seemed a bit pooped too but I guess none of us appreciate how much effort it takes for them just to stay upright.

Lots of loud music, boerie rolls, face paints and fun was the program for the rest of the day.  

We are about to head off to T&M for what they describe as a corny Valentine's dinner.  I am blipping now as it is probably going to be a late one!
