Fritillary - Flower Friday

I've always enjoyed the subtle checkerboard markings the fritillary and think its common name -  'snake's head' is extremely apposite. This was taken in the plant room of Dunbar Garden Centre and it was nice to see some variation on the primula/primrose theme that tends to dominate the winter months.
