Not Celebrating

Valentines Day because of what happened over thirty years ago...see here if you really want to know.

Day in brief - surveyor didn't turn up til 11am, so I wasn't impressed.

Went into work.  My Manager and two colleagues were aware I wouldn't be in until later and were fine about it!  So I turn up at work to have a woman from HR querying why I was so late :(   I explained and said my Manager knew about it - but why should I then feel I need to work until 6.30pm to justify it :(    Horrid day ensued after that...

Very glad to be home with my girl tonight.  Cooking soup, because the cold seems to have abated, but now my mouth is increasingly sore again....

Phew!  Long weekend now and the GOOD NEWS is that a draft Contract is being raised for my house purchase :)   Long way to go, but its a start :)
