Burnham Deepdale
Back Blip
As well as some more sorting I’d arranged for Jeremy the boiler man to do a service whilst I was here so whilst waiting for him to arrive I went for a brisk walk on the bank to see the high tide. You’d never know looking at this but it was such hard work walking back into the full force of the biting wind that seemed just as strong as yesterday. It’s on these tides that you really get some sense of what these sea walls do for a living.
I then made some marmalade and once Jeremy had left I went through to Wells for another short blast on the beach and to get some shallots, lemon, parsley and wine to cook the local mussels for tea.
