Govetts Leap

AKA Bridal Veil Falls.
I've been trying for a few days to get a shot of the waterfall at Govetts Leap, but been frustrated by the thick cloud lying in the Grose Valley. You could hear the water roaring over the Leap after all the rain we've had, but couldn't see a thing.
Finally the fog cleared this morning and we were greeted with bright sunshine.
This is shot from Govetts Leap Lookout. You can normally get a lot closer to the falls but the walking tracks are still closed after the fires and then heavy rain.
The drop here is 180m (590ft)

It's hard to get a sense of the scale of this waterfall so I've added a severe crop extra which gives a better idea of the volume of water dropping over the leap. The gum trees either side of the 'creek" give you some idea.
The processing power of modern software is quite remarkable. This was shot on a small pocket camera with a 12MP 1/1.7inch sensor at 110mm(ffeq) focal length. The crop came out at about 2.27MP which I then upscaled to 9.2MP (quite enough for web publication) using Topaz Gigapixel AI.
