Art of wind and snow

I was out walking the dog in the wind and snow this afternoon and as I was getting a little cold I decided to shorten my usual walk by taking a shortcut across a field. A strong wind was blowing across it which was causing the snow to roll up on itself almost swiss roll style. This is one of the larger formations. There were scores of them all over the field.
