New Season

Slow Start!

The threat - and reality - of Storm Dennis has seen visitor numbers very low on the first day of the February Half Term service on the Talyllyn.  Gales blowing all day and the threat of flooding inland overnight and tomorrow.   Better weather during the week hopefully.   TR No 2, Dolgoch at Wharf, soon to set off with the wind behind her around midday today.  The patchwork coloured bin in the foreground will get its gloss coat when the weather relents!

We've had a quiet day.  Some laundry done and the trays of plants delivered to their new temporary home.  This allowed the contents of the back of the car to be released.  Think I have just about exhausted the storage space in my room now with the stacks of head high boxes!   We've a friend coming for tea, someone  who knows Ruth very well so are planning a video chat with her.  Recovery is slow, her poor core strength makes movement both difficult and very painful but there is a little progress.
