Saturday: Storm “Dennis”

Weather atrocious all day so it was a day of sewing.
Remembered that I had strips of sari silk bonded onto cotton fabric from a project a few years ago - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2275684135160774734 - used my beautiful sewing machine to embroider onto the silk and tried the fabric out on my fish pattern from yesterday.
Watched as the container ship OOCL BELGIUM sailed past having left the port of Liverpool bound for Montreal, godspeed to the crew, The Sailor spent quite a few years aboard. Still at anchor, probably waiting for storm to blow over.
Watched the film “SAN Andreas” this evening, exhausted now!!
MrD and I watched the 3rd episode of “Roaming in the Wild” on iPlayer, then it’s bedtime. Pouring with rain and very windy...
