Valentines Day Meal
Busy day earlier on with visits to the airport as they are finally going to be replacing the hangar doors that were blown off by the tornado last year and then catching up on the now more normal daily activities around BG. Highlight of the day was our evening at the Clay Pigeon in Fort Worth. This is one of the top restaurants in Fort Worth and is owned by the same chef who also created Piatellos - the best Italian I have had outside Italy. Well, they recently decided to serve our coffee at their restaurants including a new one they are opening in the Stockyards in Fort Worth.
L, the manager there was also a long time member of our community over at the Grapevine location and so, even though they were fully booked, she got us a table at 7:30 pm and the meal was delicious.
On the way home we were listening to 'Unchained Melody' and it reminded us of the famous pottery scene in the film Ghost - which by chance was re-released in the UK on Valentine's day (I read in the Guardian) and so we watched the film again as a romantic end to our lovely evening. Happy Valentines everyone. Extra of the workers on Valentines Day earlier at Fort Worth, B and I.
