Yosemite Valentine

From my heart to yours.

We found this sweet greeting on the trail as we meandered around Yosemite Valley this morning before we left for home. It was a lovely walk, springlike again, but chilly. We spent a lot of time looking at the glorious bright orange, red and chartreuse twigs sprouting near the Merced River. Maybe aspen, maybe not.

On the drive out, our picnic spot had a perfect view of Bridalveil Falls across the river, without the danger of getting drenched by the spray.
