Blue Monday

Woke up before the alarm this morning. Anticipating the worst on the weather front. However, the sight of fresh snow always makes me feel happy. Phoned the boss to see if we were officially snowed in. The local schools were closed. I wasn't risking taking the car off the estate. Damn! "Get walking!" was the brutal wake up call.

The walk to Stalybridge was invigorating. My ski jacket was a wise investment.
