Right road, wrong car!

What price a trip to the Jolly's .

We took the low road, perhaps the high road may have been easier.

Unfortunately we encountered a couple of deer in the middle of the road on the way, had to ease up too much and lost all momentum, after a couple of attempts -involving himself scraping the snow off the road with our trusty shovel and trying to get grip with a load of dry grass- we gave in!


We did take the precaution of phoning a friend in the village we were going to, he was immediately on standby with his Landy to come and help us.

Very fortunately himself is a damn good driver and kept calm when we had absolutely no grip... may have sworn a couple of times, but all sorted and we didn't leave the road.


We reversed about half a mile, turned in a gate hole -now there's original- and went home.
