Steve Race & AGM for Digital Image Group

We had a lovely session in York yesterday at the RPS Digital Image Group Meeting in York (despite Storm Dennis).  

Steve entertained and showed us some of his amazing wildlife images and it was extra special for me as I had been on his Shetland trip last May (though the images he showed us were from his original recce trip in 2017).  Paula & Guy started off the afternoon for us with six amazing and very varies print images each which gave us a very different experience to the morning and which led into some of us sharing our own images.

Ann who’d looked after refreshments and the kitchen for us and provided good cheer and much positivity to the proceedings was exhausted by this time and went to have a sleep in the car.   We finished at around 3pm and although not everyone stayed to the end I think it was one of the most positive meetings we’d had.  Our journey home was much better than I anticipated, even though we were driving into the storm) and we only encountered one spell of very heavy rain around Leeds.
