Olive

Olive is a new friend on the dog walks. She is an eight month old King Charles Spaniel. She is very friendly and confident; not at all cowed by the bigger dogs.

Woke to blue skies and sunshine this morning. I know that's not the case in many parts of the country and the floods sound awful. There's certainly a lot of water in the Forth with flooding in the fields. Some roads are closed but really I haven't seen anything too alarming. However I think we're in for more overnight so let's not speak too soon.

Today is reserved for domestic bliss. There's nothing more to be said about that as it mainly involves cleaning. So far I don't feel the need to make contact with my long suffering dentist and after the past week that is a bonus.
