Broken Branch

A day spent indoors while storm Dennis raged outside. Well it was not as bad as I expected although those further north seem to have had quite a lot of problems. Today’s picture is of one small branch, which seems to have broken sometime during the night. Although small it took quite an effort  this morning to remove it and place it on the bonfire heap.
 
I had cancelled the Mensa meeting in Bishop’s Stortford, but wondered during the morning if I had made the right decision. By late afternoon I was sure I had as there were some problems with the trains on our line.

The temperature at GMT noon was twelve degrees Celsius.
