No Electricity (by choice)

My husband and I have a "date jar" which I made for him while we were dating, and there are all sorts of strange ideas for how we can spend some time together. For example, "go to McDonald's and buy a salad". We won't be doing that one again. These days, we don't get around to picking something new out of the jar very often, so we decided to do two at once this evening! They were to play a board game together, and spend the evening without using any electricity. We did cheat a lot on the second one, but we played Scrabble by candlelight at least. It's amazing how many candles we needed in order to read the board (and the dictionary) properly!
