TULIPS FROM...................

........................The co-op - doesn 't have the same ring to it as from Amsterdam does it!!!!!

A great night out last night in Thyme Out.  It was fully booked and despite the weather everyone turned up.  As we left it was raining and blowing.  As we parked up near the church and clock tower - the rain had stopped and the wind had lessened.  

Delicious food, great service.  One of the waitresses had to drive in from Flookburgh and there was terrible flood up by Boarbank, which she didn't see as it was dark.  It's never flooded there before.  Anyway she managed to just about get through,.  She said she would go back via The Fells, she knows the road so that would be OK.

As we left the wind had dropped, no rain and the stars were out!!!!  Mind you I heard Dennis in the night - pretty strong but I've heard worse.

Another quiet day in.  Was going to visit my Mum but the road out of Grange was impassable and didn't dare risk any other way in case we came across more.  Will go next weekend instead.

Have tried some flower photography with varied success.  I really must get a decent black backcloth.   Instead it's gardening stuff and my old black cardi - both are full of creases!!!

Still the focus should be o the tulips and these aren't too bad.  How do you stop Tulip Droop!!???
