New Stream

We had a lazy start to the day whilst Dennis blew itself out around us.  After lunch with a few jobs done and out of the way, we took a walk down to Bingley to pick up some milk, through a very soggy Bingley St Ives.  On the bottom path, there were several new streams coming down the hillside and Tony followed one back up to see if it was coming from the Victorian Swimming Pool, it wasn't.  Surprisingly, it was coming from a manhole, the cover of which had been lifted by the force of the water.  It is going to take some time for the run off to disappear as everywhere is sodden.  The cricket field and the golf course both have new ponds.

Milk bought, we decided to try the Craft House, a new coffee and craft workshop opened in the premises of a 'recycling store' which didn't take off.  A mixed verdict, my coffee and brownie were good but Tony's tea and cookie not so good.  I'm going to take a look at their craft courses though, and they were very welcoming.  With the Loft up for sale, I hope they succeed.
