Early lunch at Davantis at the Station...

...before we left Tynemouth for home this aft...
No pink champagne but I did have an Aperol Spritz and Roy had a very small red wine ( he was driving ). A continued celebration of his birthday and Valentine's Day - the balloon hearts were still up in the restaurant ;)

A bit windy on the M1, and we've just had quite a thunderstorm now we're home. Apart from having to mop up a wet porch, no damage here but lots of standing water in the dips at the edges of the local roads. Several have been shut while we've been away, and Woodhead Pass was closed as a lorry had overturned. I think we've probably been in the right place to avoid Dennis this weekend ;)
