Another birthday visit

My eldest niece turned 41 today. My parents, my younger brother and I went over to my sister the day she was born. Through snow storms. My father brought a shovel just in case we needed to dig snow away. But we went to see their first grandchild and our first niece.

Today I went over in spite of Dennis, who was not nearly as bad as Ciara fortunately.

In the past weeks we had the Dutch version of the Great British bake off on TV. My niece had made one of the cakes from the show. Maybe it didn't look as good, but it sure tasted delicious!
