bad to better.
Today was a day that went from terrible to brilliant, which is definitely the right way round. I lost my keys about a week ago so had to get used to leaving the house with everything I needed for the day. Today was no exception, except I forgot my purse. Idiot.
Because of this, I wasn't able to pay for my driving lesson (though she was very lovely about it) and as nobody was around, I sat in Leamington library (having missed my lecture) for four hours, reading various bits and bobs that took my fancy. Hungry and dazed, I got a very welcome phone call from Cait saying she was back in Leam and asking whether I wanted to join her for lunch. I did.
After spending the afternoon with her and Martin, we went to see Les Mis. Again. I think it was better the second time, I enjoyed it immensely, and managed not to cry. Then a couple of drinks with some Tocil flat 34 people before catching up with Photosoc on their last stop of a pub crawl.
Finally, having caught up on blood-alcohol levels, we all went to Smack. I had such a weirdly good night. I think I'm getting less grumpy in my old age!
This was the only photo I took that day as we were speeding out of the door. She's an obliging participant.
