Back through the snow...

Back from a day trip to Inverness (where there was almost no snow) to snowy Edinburgh. View is from train window just after Drumochter summit.

Trains all ran to within a few minutes of time so emergency chocolate, sandwiches, biscuit, thermos, spare clothes not required. Glad I didn't cancel due to weather warnings. Always good to go and see people on their own turf rather than expecting them to hike down every time to Edinburgh.
