Soaked

Arrived safely in Birmingham after a long, wet drive.  The windscreen wipers were employed for the whole trip - sometimes on very fast and sometimes one notch slower.  A lot of surface water around which made the splashing off passing vehicles horrendous too!
Nephew has a new-to-him house with a lovely garden - but it is water logged - you can see the reflection of the bush in the puddle!  There are a few splashes of colour from polyanthus, heather and other early flowering plants.  It is a lovely space and I'm sure the family are going to enjoy it - when it dries out!
