North Gray’s Close

I don’t think I carried on down this close last time I started. It was getting dark and the smell of wee was overwhelming

Today, on the way from Waverley (on the way from the west end of Glasgow) to a cafe to fill some time before Gaelic, I came up the way.

The alleged house of Thomas Sydserf, by times Bishop of Brechin, Galloway and Orkney. 1581 to 1663. He probably actually lived in a bigger house on the High Street
