Bristol's latest tourist attraction

It must be quite something to wake up and find that Banksy has been painting your house wall while you slept. 

As it happens I was in Bristol this weekend (to take my offspring to see Revelations, and even on second seeing I was completely engaged) and our walk back to the station took us past this new site of pilgrimage. I knew it had been vandalised the day after it appeared so I guess it was no surprise that by the time we got there the child with the catapult was boarded over and the whole thing was fenced off.

During the five minutes we stood on the street corner, a total of about 15 people turned up to take photographs. Such is the appeal of Banksy, even mid-storm.
