Day of celebration today of my uncles life, at the age of 92 he passed away a couple of weeks ago leaving my aunt, cousin and my cousins 3 children. Today was the opportunity to remember the good, funny, interesting times - a mechanic all his career, on retiring he continued his love of chess and fishing, but also took up restoring 400 day anniversary clocks. Sadly he developed dementia which, with an infection that wouldn’t heal, added to his frailty. He is at peace now. Now the family need time to continue with their life without him. He was the eldest child of 5 (my mum was the 4th, AJ is the 3rd). :)
