Country Roads

Yesterday l did a great trip up country roads to Mount Aspiring National park. This basically covered the trip l did on Feb 14 via jet boat but this time on land. Once off tarmac and on to gravel or metal roads a new landscape opens. My childhood was spent bumping about in the back of cars on gravel roads, basically if you were born pre 1970s in New Zealand gravel roads are part of your DNA.
