Mono Monday: Looking Up

My grandmother gave me this medical book that had been in her family for a very long time. It's a huge book even though it's missing the front and back cover and many pages. Since I don't have the cover page, I don't know exactly how old it is. However, there are pages of black and white photographs that are copyrighted to I. W. Wagner, 1913. 

I find the remedies and information in it fascinating. My grandmother explained to me that it wasn't always possible to go to the doctor due to cost, so this was her family's reference to look up symptoms and remedies for all manner of complaints.
