Sunrise stroll

I started work late this morning. Despite my body telling me to stay in bed, I got up at my usual time and was out walking Abe at the Wetlands in time to see the sun come up.

Abe and I had a skip in our steps and enjoyed a wonderful 40 minutes together. He makes me very happy.

A not so enjoyable afternoon with a class really testing my patience and teaching skills. I’ll address the situs with them tomorrow morning. It can’t go on like this.

I managed to hold on to some of this morning’s joy. They don’t have the power to take that away.
