School dinner?

This beauty took up residence in our school grounds last summer. Efforts have been made to catch her and repatriate her to her proper home but all have failed. She usually lives in the infant yard, apparently hopping onto the playhouse roof and thence to the trees each night. Today she made a visit to the year six garden, presumably in search of the bird food. I threw her handfuls of the stuff and she scratched around and sheltered from the snow under the table all morning. Didn't do much for maths, but we don't get many chickens out there! I'm still trying to get a photo of the linnet/redpoll for identification, but they always come in when I'm in full flow!
