Staveley School Plaque

Back in 1886 Staveley school was re-built adjacent to the new church of St James' on Brow Lane. This plaque was put up to celebrate the occasion. Then the school was extended in 1928 t0 put on an extra classroom. I wonder what they would all make of the new building next to the original one with more classrooms, a hall and a kitchen!
