Sunset Oil

The fine looking pastel sky called me, but I did not listen and ended up making it an oil with the Wacom tablet and Art History brush in PS.

Last night we watched The Trench. a 1999 World War 1 movie that presented a bookend to what we saw a few days ago, the current running 1917. The time in The Trench preceded the first Battle Of The Somme in 1916. One million died or were wounded.

The movie was free on YouTube, & Daniel Craig, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw and more starred. As I wrote, 1917 was an emotional ride. And The Trench solidified the futility of any war. But we all know that.
So the next time you cast a ballot, do it for the peace candidate.
