In the window
Another wild and windy day. Not bad enough to deter the Tai Chi teacher this week though, and it was a fun session.
MrM and I decided not to go up to the Common this afternoon as it was probably too windy to see any squirrels. A good decision, as we would have been caught in a very heavy and prolonged rain shower! But I did get rather damp later on, when I went out to buy some spinach for tomorrow's soup.
Valentine's Day over and done with, many of the shops in Wooler are concentrating on the next big commercial opportunity - Easter. Creme eggs were in the shops before Christmas, and hot cross buns were on the shelves before the mince pies had been eaten! More recently, the chickens and silk daffodils have appeared in the bakery window.
