'Am I Blue?'

It's Spring here in G'ville! We watched, this morning, as an absolutely huge...easily a couple of thousand, Sandhill Cranes kettled above our neighborhood. The sound they made, calling and calling, can only be described as a 'roar'! Most of them are on their way to Minnesota, the Dakotas and into Canada.
This Blue Jay was singing and calling his heart out in our Winged Elm tree. I sat in our back yard this morning and just listened to all of the bird sounds. In late afternoon and into to the evening, the insects, owls and frogs are beginning their chorus. I love this time of the year!
